Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling microbial processes, including fermentation, culture development, and downstream processes, to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and optimize microbial fermentation and production processes
- Conduct experiments for process improvement and scale-up
- Work on microbial culture selection, growth optimization, and media development
- Monitor and analyze critical process parameters
- Support technology transfer from R&D; to pilot and commercial-scale production
- Troubleshoot process deviations and identify root causes
- Conduct data analysis and prepare technical reports
- Collaborate with R&D;, Production, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance teams
- Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and batch records
- Support process validation and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, biosafety, and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated with developments in microbial technology and industrial biotechnology

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of Microbiology, Fermentation, and Bioprocessing




- Understanding of microbial growth kinetics and culture optimization
- Knowledge of bioreactors, fermentation parameters, and process scale-up
- Experience with experimental design and data analysis
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and contamination control
- Understanding of downstream processing is an advantage
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good technical documentation and reporting skills

Qualification & Experience:

- M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in microbial process development or bioprocessing
- Experience in industrial microbiology, fermentation, or biotech/pharma manufacturing preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in fermentation, probiotics, enzymes, bio-products, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or industrial microbiology
- Exposure to process scale-up, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing
- Experience with bioreactors and fermentation process optimization

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
