Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare GA, fabrication, assembly, component, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical documents.
- Prepare drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and technical details.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and material details.
- Modify and revise drawings based on engineering, client, production, or site requirements.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineers, Production, and Site Teams.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with applicable drafting standards.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, and documentation.
- Review drawings before release to minimize errors during fabrication or execution.
- Take measurements and prepare drawings based on site requirements, wherever required.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Support the engineering team with design modifications and technical documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned drawings as per project deadlines.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, sections, elevations, and assembly drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation and material estimation.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualification

- ITI – Draughtsman Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers with robust AutoCAD knowledge may also be considered.
- Experience in mechanical drafting/fabrication will be an added advantage.

Experience

0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

- AutoCAD
- MS Office / MS Excel

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
