Job Description – Flexo Printing Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Flexo Printing Manager to manage and supervise our flexographic printing operations for paperboard-based food packaging products, primarily Mono Cartons and Paperboard Packaging.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Flexo Printing on Paperboard / Carton Board and should understand print quality, colour matching, registration, ink management, machine setup, wastage control and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Flexo Printing production and achieve daily/monthly production targets.
- Handle and supervise flexo printing machines used for paperboard / carton board products.
- Ensure proper machine setup, plate mounting, ink preparation, colour matching and registration.
- Monitor print quality, shade consistency, print clarity and registration accuracy.
- Control ink consumption, paperboard wastage, rejection and production losses.
- Troubleshoot printing defects and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Maintenance, PPC and Pre-Press teams.
- Manage operators and printing staff and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Maintain machine efficiency, productivity and downtime records.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of printing plates, inks and other consumables.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety and housekeeping standards.




- Prepare daily production and printing reports for management.

Mandatory Industry Experience

Candidates must have experience in Flexo Printing of:

- Paperboard
- Carton Board
- Mono Cartons
- Folding Cartons
- Food Packaging / FMCG Packaging

Important: Candidates whose primary experience is only in flexible packaging such as chips packets, namkeen packets, detergent pouches, plastic films, laminates, carry bags/theli, BOPP/PET/PE film printing, etc. will NOT be considered.

We specifically require a candidate who has worked with paperboard-based packaging / mono-carton products.

Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Technology, Mechanical, Production or a relevant technical field will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 05–08 years of relevant printing/packaging experience.
- Experience as Flexo Printing Manager / Flexo Printing Supervisor / Senior Flexo Printing Operator.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of paperboard and mono-carton flexo printing.
- Experience in food packaging or FMCG packaging will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
