Job Summary

Responsible for managing copper manufacturing/extrusion production operations, ensuring production targets, quality, productivity, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan and monitor daily and weekly production activities to achieve production targets while meeting quality and delivery requirements.

· Manage copper manufacturing and extrusion processes and monitor critical process parameters to ensure efficient and consistent production.

· Track key production KPIs including output, yield, rejection, downtime, cycle time, productivity, and OEE.

· Identify production bottlenecks, process losses, and operational issues and implement effective corrective and continuous improvement actions.

· Manage manpower allocation, shift operations, workforce training, and team performance to achieve production and productivity targets.

· Ensure compliance with EHS, safety, housekeeping, 5S, quality standards, and established operating procedures across the shop floor.

· Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely execution of production plans.

· Monitor raw material consumption, material yield,



production losses, WIP, and finished goods to minimize wastage and improve production efficiency.

· Drive 5S, Kaizen, productivity improvement, process optimization, and waste reduction initiatives across production operations.

Candidate Profile

· Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Metallurgy or related field

· Experience: 4–8 years in Copper Manufacturing, Copper Extrusion, Non-Ferrous Metals, Foundry, or Metal Processing.

· Hands-on experience in shop-floor production, manpower management, shift operations, and production planning preferred.

· Strong knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, OEE, production KPIs, quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Experience in monitoring production parameters, reducing process losses, improving yield, and optimizing productivity.

· Robust leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
