Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release of Information (ROI) Specialist with 3 years of healthcare ROI experience. The candidate will be responsible for processing medical record requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and client policies, maintaining data accuracy, and meeting quality and turnaround time (TAT) expectations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ROI workflows, EHR/EMR systems, and medical records management.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and fulfill Release of Information (ROI) requests for medical records.
- Review and validate patient authorization forms and legal documentation.
- Verify requestor identity and ensure appropriate authorization before releasing Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Retrieve patient records from EMR/EHR systems accurately.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, client policies, and organizational privacy standards.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy while meeting productivity and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
- Document all ROI activities in client systems.
- Handle requests from patients, providers, attorneys, insurance companies, and government agencies.




- Resolve incomplete or invalid requests by coordinating with requestors.
- Support quality audits and ensure compliance with established SOPs.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate issues when necessary.
- Mentor junior team members when required.

Required Skills

- 3 years of hands-on experience in Healthcare Release of Information (ROI).
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Understanding of medical records, patient documentation, and healthcare workflows.
- Ability to review legal authorizations and consent forms.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with US healthcare clients.
- Familiarity with ROI tools and document management systems.
- Experience handling high-volume ROI requests while maintaining quality standards.
- Exposure to quality audits and compliance processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
