EIG Overseas is looking for an experienced, result-oriented Student Counselor with excellent English language and communication skills for our Thrissur branch.

The candidate will be responsible for counseling students regarding overseas education opportunities, assisting them in selecting suitable courses and universities, handling admission-related inquiries, and supporting students throughout their study abroad journey.

Strong proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities, courses, and career options.
- Guide students in selecting suitable universities, colleges, and academic programs.
- Handle student inquiries, follow-ups, and admission procedures professionally.
- Communicate confidently with students and parents in English.
- Provide accurate information regarding admission requirements, visa procedures, scholarships, and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve counseling, registration, and admission targets assigned by the company.
- Coordinate with the admissions and processing teams for smooth application handling.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, follow-ups,



and student information.

Requirements

- Excellent English communication skills – both spoken and written – are mandatory.
- Ability to confidently counsel and interact with students and parents in English.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in study abroad counseling or a related field.
- Strong counseling, interpersonal, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Good knowledge of international education, university admissions, and study abroad processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a target-oriented environment.
- Professional attitude and strong team-working skills.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Malayalam communication skills will be an added advantage.
