Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader – Business Development to lead and manage our telesales/business development team. The ideal candidate should have strong team-handling capabilities, excellent communication skills, a cooperative approach, and the ability to drive the team towards achieving business and revenue targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Team Management: Lead, manage, and motivate the Business Development/Telesales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Sales Performance: Monitor individual and team performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to improve lead conversion and overall sales performance.
- Coaching & Development: Train, mentor, and support team members on sales techniques, customer handling, product knowledge, and effective communication.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while ensuring effective coordination between the Business Development team and other departments.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, resolve team-level challenges, and take ownership of achieving business objectives.
- Reporting & Monitoring:



Maintain regular sales reports, review team performance, identify gaps, and provide timely updates to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Prior experience in EdTech sales is required; experience in the Education Industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in handling and leading a telesales/business development team.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-oriented with a proven ability to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
