ROLE OVERVIEW

The Full Stack Developer is a highly skilled engineer responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end digital solutions across frontend and backend platforms, with a specialisation in Zoho CRM customisation and integration. Working within a modern, client-facing environment, this role combines deep technical execution with collaborative delivery — contributing to engineering standards, mentoring peers, and driving quality across the full software development lifecycle. The Full Stack Developer works closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs. The role has a solid focus on Node.js-based backend development, Zoho CRM platform expertise, and the progressive adoption of AI-enabled development practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Zoho CRM Development & Customisation

- Design, implement, and maintain custom Zoho CRM modules, workflows, blueprints, and automation rules aligned to business processes.
- Build and manage custom functions using Deluge scripting within the Zoho ecosystem.
- Integrate Zoho CRM with third-party systems and internal applications using Zoho APIs and REST-based integrations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate CRM requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions on the Zoho platform.
- Maintain awareness of Zoho platform updates and new features, applying them where appropriate to improve delivered solutions.

Backend Development

- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript,



following clean architecture and SOLID principles.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and webhook-based integrations across internal and external services.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implement caching strategies where appropriate.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent, ensuring automated testing and reliable deployments.

Frontend Development

- Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using React or Next.js with TypeScript.
- Ensure strong alignment of API contracts between frontend and backend teams, collaborating closely with UX and product stakeholders.
- Implement state management, component architecture, and performance optimisation best practices across frontend codebases.
- Maintain accessibility standards and promote a consistent, high-quality user experience across platforms.

AI & Engineering Innovation (Preferred)

- Actively participate in the adoption of AI-enabled development tools and workflows across the SDLC, including code generation, spec-driven development, and automated testing.
- Apply AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance documentation.




- Stay current with emerging AI development practices and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives.

Engineering Excellence & Quality

- Write clean, well-tested code aligned to agreed engineering standards and coding guidelines.
- Promote clean architecture, SOLID principles, testability, and a strong culture of peer review and continuous improvement.
- Identify and proactively address technical debt, advocating for quality and long-term maintainability within the team.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical knowledge sharing sessions.

MANDATORY SKILLS

- Zoho CRM: Strong hands-on experience with Zoho CRM customisation, workflows, Deluge scripting, and API integrations; Zoho CRM Certification is mandatory/preferred
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful API design, Webhook integrations
- Frontend: React / Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- DevOps: Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, CI/CD pipeline management

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience with other Zoho suite products (Zoho Creator, Zoho Books, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Flow).
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for productivity and code quality improvements.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment and infrastructure management.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and observability platforms (AppInsights, ELK).
- Prior experience working in a GCC or international client-facing delivery model.
