Key Responsibilities 1. Cable Design & Engineering

- Design cables as per customer specifications and standards like IS / IEC As per IS 694,1554 part 1, 7098 part 1 , Instrumentation cables etc

Select:

- Conductor size and type (Copper / Aluminum)
- Number of cores and configuration
- Insulation type (PVC / XLPE)
- Sheathing and armouring

Calculate:

- Insulation thickness
- Overall cable diameter
- Weight per meter

2. Costing & Estimation

- Prepare detailed cost sheets for each cable design
- Calculate raw material consumption:
- Copper / Aluminum
- PVC / XLPE
- Steel (armour)
- Estimate manufacturing cost:
- Machine time
- Labour cost
- Power consumption

Provide:

- Cost per meter
- Total project cost
- Support pricing strategy with sales team

3. GTP (Guaranteed Technical Particulars) Preparation

- Prepare and submit GTP documents as per tender/customer format
- Include:
- Cable specifications
- Material details
- Electrical and mechanical parameters
- Applicable standards




- Ensure accuracy and compliance with technical requirements

4. Tender & Inquiry Handling

- Review RFQs / tenders and technical specifications
- Prepare:
- Technical datasheets
- Deviation statements
- Compliance sheets
- Coordinate with sales/marketing for submission

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work with:
- Production team (for feasibility)
- Purchase team (for raw material rates)
- Quality team (for standards compliance)

6. Documentation & Records

- Maintain design calculations and costing records
- Update cost databases as per market rates
- Keep standard templates for GTP and datasheets

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
