JOB DESCRIPTION – PHLEBOTOMIST / HOME COLLECTION EXECUTIVE

Malhotra Labs is hiring a Phlebotomist / Home Collection Executive for Chandigarh.

Role:
The candidate will be responsible for blood sample collection at the lab and from patient homes, proper sample handling, patient communication, and timely coordination with the lab team.

Responsibilities:

- Collect blood samples safely and professionally
- Visit patients for home sample collection
- Verify patient details before collection
- Label samples correctly and maintain sample records
- Follow hygiene, safety, and biomedical waste protocols
- Handle vacutainers, syringes, swabs, tourniquet, and collection kits properly
- Coordinate with reception/lab team for bookings and reports
- Maintain polite and reassuring communication with patients
- Ensure timely sample transport to the lab
- Use smartphone for calls, WhatsApp location,



patient coordination and updates

Requirements:

- DMLT/BMLT or relevant phlebotomy/lab experience preferred
- Valuable blood collection skills
- 1 year experience preferred; freshers with good practical skills may apply
- Must have a smartphone
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred
- Comfortable with early morning home collections
- Honest, punctual, polite, and well-groomed

Salary:
₹16,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience
