Transformation, Enablement & Innovation > Value Chain Services > Transport Documentation & S-BoM Readiness

The role of the Transport documentation and SBoM readiness department is to ensure that the technical documentation package is created and maintained in the expected quality and in time for other documentation departments to publish and translate the documents to our internal stakeholders as well as to our customers in time, quality and right format. The tasks are cross-functional and require some technical insights in how a wind turbine and its individual components work as well as good illustrating skills. You will be a part of the team supplying the business with the relevant onshore and offshore technical documentation packages.

Responsibilities

Work with Spare parts team to know the availability of SBOM
Create illustration based on the requirements
Plan and execute illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) for New Mk upgrade projects
Reduce the comments/feedback on the IPC
Coordinate with Technical Lead and SME to deliver the project as planned
Work in a structured way and pay attention to details
Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards
Self-motivated and thrive in an organization with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and diverse interfaces
Systematic and structured when dealing with complex requirements from many different stakeholders
Perform tasks with limited supervision and consistently contribute constructively in group settings
You are committed to producing clear, accurate technical documentation
Cultural understanding (global interfaces to colleagues all over the world)
Create and update technical parts illustrations in support of new product introductions, updates, and revisions
Support continuous process improvements related to illustration quality and turnaround time

Qualifications

Bachelor's / master's in graphic designer / Fine Arts / Similar specialization




Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within technical illustrations for technical products- Good IT skills besides Creo Illustrate (PDMLink, MS Office, Adobe PhotoShop)
Knowledge in Service Information Manager
Knowledge of Arbortext and Windchill
Experience in technical or parts illustration within Wind, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial domains

Competencies

Experience with Parts Authoring is added value
Ability to follow project plans, meet tight deadlines, and manage end-to-end project execution with minimal supervision
Good communication skill
Good at project planning. Work well with tight deadlines in a team environment
Ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
3D knowledge is not mandatory but is complementary
Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, like Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Creo Illustrate, etc
Problem solving skills
Interviewing and listening skills
Motivated and able to manage own tasks
Work in a structured way and pay attention to details
Work with minimal supervision, yet at the same time you work well with others
Stakeholder management skills
