Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior PEB Structural Design Engineer to lead and execute the design, analysis, detailing, and engineering activities for Pre-Engineered Building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in steel structures, PEB design, connection design, and project coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead a design team.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and analyse Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) in accordance with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, load calculations, connection designs, and steel detailing.
- Design and review primary and secondary structural members, including columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracings, and connections.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IS, AISC, MBMA, and other applicable international/local design codes and standards.
- Develop cost-effective and structurally optimised designs while maintaining safety, quality, and performance requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve fabrication drawings, erection drawings, structural drawings, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, clients, consultants, and other engineering teams for design development and approvals.
- Review engineering deliverables and ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with fabrication vendors, site teams, contractors,



and erection teams to resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Provide technical support during fabrication and erection stages and resolve site-related structural issues.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and detailers while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in PEB design, structural steel design, and detailing.
- Solid knowledge of steel structures, structural analysis, load calculations, stability, and connection design.
- Proficiency in structural and detailing software such as:
- STAAD.Pro
- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD
- MBS / Metal Building Software
- Other relevant structural engineering software.
- Strong working knowledge of IS, AISC, MBMA, and related structural design standards.
- Proven experience in industrial, commercial, warehouse, and other PEB projects.
- Experience in reviewing fabrication and erection drawings and preparing/reviewing BOQs.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects within defined timelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in PEB structural design, connection design, engineering coordination, fabrication drawing review, and project execution will be preferred.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
