What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

We are seeking a skilled Developer to design, build and optimize scalable data solutions on the Databricks platform. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to develop high-performing data pipelines, enable advanced analytics, and ensure a secure, reliable data environment

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

- Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.
- Design, develop and implement ETL solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and IDMC.
- Strongs hands on development experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strongs Hands on experience in SQL with databases such as Oracle.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting.
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Manage Databricks clusters, jobs, workspaces & Integrate Databricks with cloud platform ( Azure).
- Leverage PySpark/Spark and SQL to transform and process large datasets.
- Implement rigorous data quality checks and validation procedures throughout the data pipeline to maintain high accuracy and reliability.
- Adhere to data governance policies and best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and cluster performance.
- Provide technical leadership and best practices in data engineering and architecture.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

- Collaborates with other operational teams, QA teams, and development teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Works closely with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications.




- Partners with project managers and product owners to align technical deliverables with business priorities.

Experience: 7+ years of experience

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related role.
- Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and PySpark experience is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, data modeling techniques, and database systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Expert Python and Advanced SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and version control( Git, DevOps tools).

Good to Have:

- Experience with streaming technologies ( Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming)
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification.
