- Development of WPS/PQR as per required codes for qualification (ASME Sec IX & EN ISO 15614-1) & client dealing for its approval.
- To Qualify Welders & Welding Operator as per required code for qualification (ASME Sec IX,D 9606-1,EN ISO 14732) & client dealing for its approval.
- Respond to sales query at enquiry stage related to welding.
- Estimation of Welding Consumable for Job.
- Qualify multiple vendor/ supplier related to welding consumables.
- Audit the shop for compliance & use of approved/qualified welding procedure & welder as per requirement of job.
- To make repair procedures for fabrication if required.
- Make UT/RT failure analysis and take preventive actions.
- Provide training to shop supervisor & welders about code related to welding & trained Welders in multi process for multi skilling.
- Plan improvement in welding processes and implement in coordination with team.
