**Company Description** - **Job Description** The System & Application Architect - MuleSoft is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise integration solutions based on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role ensures scalable, secure, and standardized integration architectures across business applications, cloud services, SAP landscapes, and third-party platforms. The architect acts as a trusted advisor for business and IT stakeholders, driving API-led connectivity, integration best practices, and middleware governance. + Define and maintain the enterprise integration architecture and MuleSoft platform roadmap. + Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions following API-led connectivity principles. + Lead and govern the architecture and design of MuleSoft-based integrations between SAP, cloud, SaaS, and enterprise applications. + Design APIs, data transformation services, event-driven integrations, and middleware solutions. + Support project teams during analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases. + Drive adoption of integration standards through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing. + Contribute to the Center of Enablement by defining frameworks, templates, and operational procedures **Qualifications** + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration and middleware architecture. + Proven experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API Management.



+ Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices, REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven architectures. + Experience integrating SAP landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP) with cloud and non-SAP applications. + Experience working in global and cross-functional environments. + MuleSoft Anypoint Platform + API Design (RAML/OpenAPI) + REST, SOAP, JSON, XML + Security standards (OAuth, TLS, JWT, SAML) + Integration Monitoring and Governance + Data Mapping and Transformation + Strategic and analytical thinking + Strong stakeholder management + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities + Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions + Robust focus on standardization, scalability, and operational excellence **Additional Information** **Certifications (Preferred)** + MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA) + MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA) + MuleSoft Developer Certification + TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification Ready to drive with Continental?
