About the Role

As a BI Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional development team engineering the experiences of tomorrow. This role involves overseeing and contributing to the planning, development, testing, and publishing of BI, analytics, and reporting solutions. You'll play a key role in ensuring data integrity and enabling data-driven decision-making to support operational optimization and business growth.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development

- Plan and prioritize day-to-day activities to align with business objectives and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Provide consolidated visibility into request statuses, timelines, and progress for all BI-related tasks.
- Advise team members on efficient solutions to meet new or special business requests.
- Maintain an enhancement list and schedule for existing reports and dashboards.

Communication and Interactions

- Collaborate with business units and senior leaders across departments including Finance, HR, Recruitment, Sales, and Marketing to define and deliver BI and analytics solutions.
- Identify key performance metrics and build executive dashboards to track business performance and priority initiatives.
- Consult with cross-functional experts and data owners to source and acquire the right data for analysis.




- Ensure accurate and synchronized communication between business and IT teams regarding data and reporting.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of Ciklum's core data warehouse and ETL pipelines.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience in data analytics and building BI dashboards and reports (preferably with Sisense, or similar BI tools).
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of web development is a plus.
- Experience in data architecture, database design, and data management is desirable.
- Creative thinker with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Robust team player with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
