Responsibilities

- Creating and executing the Java CoE technical strategy
- Building and growing a strong team globally, ensuring the team can deliver Java CoE offerings with high-quality
- Growing the CoE to meet Ciklum s goals
- Pre-sales and winning current work
- Improving value proposition and technology radar as technology changes
- Ensuring the team has the capability and competency to deliver against the value proposition
- Running the communities of practice and building engagement internally
- Public speaking at events that are likely to bring us business
- Lead the team of engaged talents, ensure high performance and continuous development in compliance with Ciklum processes
- Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment within the Java CoE that drives a community that grows and retains talent

Requirements

- Extensive practical experience in Java development and leadership




- Awareness of the latest IT industry and digitalization trends
- Ability to set clear and attainable goals and priorities, manage time effectively, handle multi-tasking activities, and prioritize tasks efficiently
- High flexibility and the ability to modify approaches based on changing stakeholders, conditions, circumstances, and feedback. Quick learning ability
- Utilizing all aspects of emotional intelligence to navigate interactions and complexities in the business environment and drive leadership performance in oneself and others
- Performance management skills to manage individuals and groups, set performance targets, and monitor progress against agreed quality and performance criteria
