- Head the existing line of business and manage the Assistant Managers/Managers in the respective department
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with Branch leaders, Sales directors, Operations supervisors, and other
- leaders in the corporate team
- Generate and implement efficient Inventory fulfillment and replenishment strategies with accurate and timely
- deliveries
- Communicate between the Regional and National Product teams to ensure all the scenarios are reviewed and incorporated to ensure effective inventory planning
- Research and forecast shifts in the negotiating power of vendors such as trucking companies
- Lead the team and implement effective KPI s and metrics to ensure quality and efficiency
- Strive to simplify each task for efficiency by use of necessary tools and process re-engineering
- Ensure effective implementation of company policies that promote a healthy work environment
- Collaborate with human resources to meet and drive MSI Culture at all levels
- Commit to team development and ensure there is effective collaboration, learning, and best practices sharing.
- Identifying Team requirements for training and up-skilling and providing the necessary knowledge for them to work
- efficiently.
- Be equipped and poised to take interviews and conduct semi-annual and annual performance reviews.
Desired Candidate profile
- A PG or Bachelors degree with a specialization in general management/supply chain management is preferred.
- Experience of 15+ years and should have people management experience of at least 7 years.
- Must have at least 2 Manager s reporting into with an overall span of 50 or more.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good with presentation skills and oration.
- Highly organized and Detail-oriented.
- Good problem-solving and articulation skills.
- Must have an affinity towards data crunching and analysis.
- Ability to identify opportunities and drive tangible outcomes with minimal supervision
- Team management and an expert in conflict resolution.
- Strong people skills and an excellent collaborator.
- Willingness to deep dive into the process and gain hands-on knowledge.
- Open to work in US shift and be flexible to manage a 24/6 operation
