We are seeking an experienced WMS Automation Tester to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in automation testing specifically for Warehouse Management Systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our WMS applications through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for WMS applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application changes and impact on testing processes.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a bug-tracking system.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionalities are not broken by new code changes.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in automation testing, specifically for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficient in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test script development.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of database testing and SQL for validating data integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
