deployment
Solid understanding of VLAN design, trunking, EtherChannel/port-channel, and spanning
tree (RSTP/MST)
Experience with distribution layer switching and L3 boundary design

Familiarity with Nexus platforms (93180, 9336, 9348) for production/data centre edge
environments
Experience with stacking, high-availability, and resilient access layer designs
Meraki SD-WAN, LAN & Wireless
Experience with Meraki MX appliances for SD-WAN (hub-and-spoke, VPN concentrator,
traffic shaping)
Experience with Meraki MS switches for site LAN (switching policies, port profiles, stacking)
Experience with Meraki MR access points for enterprise wireless (SSIDs, Group Policies,
RF profiles)
Familiarity with the Meraki Dashboard for centralised management, monitoring, and
troubleshooting




Understanding of Meraki template-based deployment for multi-site environments
Experience migrating sites to/from Meraki platforms
Wireless
Experience with enterprise wireless deployment (Meraki and/or Juniper Mist)
Understanding of SSID design, RF planning, roaming, and wireless security (WPA2/3-
Enterprise)
Familiarity with wireless survey tools (Ekahau)
Understanding of RADIUS integration for wireless authentication
Network Access Control
Experience with 802.1X wired and wireless authentication
Familiarity with Cisco ISE or equivalent NAC platforms for policy enforcement, VLAN
assignment, and MAB
Understanding of RADIUS/TACACS+ protocols and integration patterns
Experience with guest access, profiling, and posture assessment
