ORACLE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT AME

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune (Hybrid 3 days WFO in a week)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Functional Consultant to join our Approvals Management Engine (AME) Practice. The consultant will be responsible for analysing approval requirements, designing approval solutions, configuring Oracle Approvals Management, supporting Oracle Workflow integration, conducting testing, and providing production support across Oracle E-Business Suite modules.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12/R12.2, Oracle Approvals Management Engine, organizational and approval hierarchies, and workflow-based business processes. The role requires close collaboration with business users, application teams, Oracle technical consultants, and support teams to implement secure, scalable, and audit-compliant approval processes.

Oracle AME is a configurable rules engine within Oracle E-Business Suite that determines who must approve a transaction. It supports conditions, attributes, action types, approval groups, hierarchies, rule priorities, and header- or line-level approval rules.

- Ensure AME rules are reusable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational approval policies.

Oracle's AME implementation guidance specifically covers transaction types, configuration variables, attributes, conditions, approver groups, action types, rule use, chain-of-authority processing, repeated approvers, parallel approvals, exception handling, and testing.
