nTheSchool Counselor provides comprehensive support to students across all grade levels in alignment with the CBSE philosophy. They work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster a positive and inclusive school setting that promotes students' well-being, personal growth, and academic success.
nKey Responsibilities:
n1. Student Well-being & Social-Emotional Support

- n
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' personal, social, and emotional challenges.n
- Develop and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and well-being initiatives.n
- Support students in managing stress, anxiety, and mental health concerns.n
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment in line with IB Learner Profile attributes.n

n2. Academic & Career Guidance

- n
- Assist students in setting academic and personal goals.n
- Support students in time management, study skills, and learning strategies.n




- Guide students in the university and career exploration process, including college applications, scholarships, and career pathways.n
- Provide counseling on subject selection based on students' interests and future aspirations.n

n3. Collaboration with Stakeholders

- Work closely with teachers to identify and support students with learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and emotional concerns.n
- Communicate with parents regarding students' progress, challenges, and strategies for support.n
- Collaborate with external mental health professionals when specialized support is needed.n
- Conduct workshops and sessions for parents, students, and teachers on mental health, well-being, and life skills.n

n4. Child Protection & Safeguarding

- Ensure adherence to child protection policies and report any safeguarding concerns.n
- Promote awareness of student safety and well-being through workshops and training
