Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nThe purpose of this role is to lead and drive the overall Transformer Manufacturing business, with end-to-end accountability for P&L;, production, quality, testing, maintenance, supply chain, capacity utilization, cost optimization, and operational excellence. The role will establish a high-performance, technology-enabled manufacturing ecosystem capable of delivering power and distribution transformers with the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. It will also drive continuous improvement, capacity expansion, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth in line with the organization's strategic objectives.

- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for power and distribution transformers.n
- Manage production across core cutting, coil winding, core-coil assembly, tanking, and final assembly.n
- Drive production planning, capacity utilization, productivity and manufacturing efficiency.n
- Ensure timely production and dispatch aligned with project and customer requirements.n




- Manage overall plant operations, manpower, equipment and infrastructure.n
- Optimize plant capacity and identify bottlenecks for capacity enhancement.n
- Drive lean manufacturing, automation, process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.n
- Ensure effective utilization of machinery, tooling and production resources.n

nRequired Skills

- n
- 20–25 years of overall experience in manufacturing/operations, preferably in Power / Distribution Transformer or Heavy Electrical Equipment industries.n
- Minimum 8–10 years in senior plant/operations leadership roles such as Plant Head, Factory Head, GM Manufacturing, SGM Manufacturing, or Head – Operations.n
- Solid experience in transformer manufacturing, including core cutting, winding, core-coil assembly, tanking, oil filling and testing.n
- Track record of managing a large-scale manufacturing plant with significant prod
