Ltd. | Bengaluru / Chennai ₹12–16 LPA | 5+ years experience | Three positions, one per territory ABOUT NISIKI Nisiki Technologies is a Bengaluru-based precision components manufacturer, in business since 1997. We're the market leader in India for 2-wheeler starter motor commutators (~65% share) and small appliance commutators (~85% share), making around 1.8 million commutators a month across two units. We supply Bosch, Honda, Hyundai, TVS, Maruti Suzuki, Havells, DeWalt and Metabo among 100+ active customers, from facilities certified to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. ABOUT THE ROLE Commutators get specified into a motor programme years before anyone raises a purchase order. That means the sale is won at the customer's engineering desk, not in the purchase department — and it is why this is a Sales Engineer role rather than a sales executive one. HOW TECHNICAL IS THIS ROLE? This role sits deliberately between a commercial seller and a design engineer. You are expected to read a customer drawing,



understand what a commutator does inside a motor, discuss segment count, insert type, silver content and critical dimensions intelligently, and identify a technical opportunity or risk unaided. You are not expected to specify the design yourself — that sits with our NPD design engineer, whom you will bring into the conversation. Knowing where that line falls, and not bluffing past it, is a core competence of the role. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Own the full customer set in your territory — existing accounts, dormant accounts and recent prospects • Build and maintain multi-level relationships at each account: purchase, engineering, quality and plant leadership • Identify and open new OEM and Tier-1 accounts in power tools and automotive within the territory • Map the motor programmes at each target and identify where a commutator or slip ring opportunity exists • Read and interpret customer drawings and
