This is not a routine accounting operations role—it is a system-building chance for someone who enjoys translating complex business processes into scalable financial structures.The successful candidate will develop an end-to-end cost framework that provides accurate project costing across land acquisition, construction, design, marketing, amenities, and corporate overheads while ensuring financial transparency and decision-ready reporting.This role is ideal for professionals who want to build systems from the ground up rather than maintain existing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Cost Structure DesignDesign and implement the Chart of Cost Accounts, Cost Centers, and Cost Categories within the ERP.Develop a scalable cost architecture for multiple projects across different cities.Configure BOQ-linked cost structures wherever applicable.Ensure the structure supports future business expansion and new project launches.Cost Allocation & Project AccountingDevelop logical and auditable cost allocation methodologies for:Shared corporate overheadsMarketing expensesDesign and architecture costsAdministrative costsPhase-wise project capitalizationLand acquisition and development costsCommon infrastructure and amenitiesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.Budgeting & Cost MonitoringConfigure Budget vs. Actual reporting within the ERP.Develop meaningful variance reports for project leadership.Build intuitive dashboards that enable management to review project financial health quickly.Improve reporting visibility for founders, finance leaders, and project heads.Business Process IntegrationWork closely with Project, Construction, Finance, Procurement, and Site teams to understand actual cost flows.Translate operational workflows into efficient ERP configurations.Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance cost visibility and financial control.Continuous ImprovementRefine and optimize the ERP cost framework as projects evolve.Ensure consistency, scalability, and data integrity across all projects.Support automation initiatives related to project accounting and financial reporting.Desired Candidate ProfileExperience2–6 years of hands-on experience configuring Project Accounting or Cost Accounting modules within ERP systems.Experience with Tally Prime, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho Books , or similar ERP platforms.Experience in real estate, infrastructure, EPC, construction, manufacturing, or project-driven businesses is preferred.Technical CompetenciesStrong understanding of:Cost AccountingProject AccountingCost AllocationOverhead AbsorptionCapitalization vs.
