AI-enabled and emerging digital technologies

into Civil Engineering teaching, research, and applications.Contribute to academic quality, accreditation, OBE, and institutional development initiatives.Mentor faculty members and support departmental academic leadership..





AI & Emerging Technology Skills – PreferredCandidates should demonstrate awareness and practical exposure to

recent AI tools and digital technologies being adopted in Civil Engineering

, such as:Generative AI / Large Language Models (LLMs)

for research, technical documentation, analysis, and academic applications.AI/ML tools

for predictive modelling, structural health monitoring, risk assessment, construction management, transportation, geotechnical and environmental engineering.AI-integrated BIM and Generative Design

.Digital Twin technologies

for infrastructure monitoring and predictive maintenance.GIS, Remote Sensing, UAV/Drone and LiDAR-based applications

.AI-enabled

construction planning, scheduling, cost estimation, quantity take-off and risk prediction

.Data analytics, Python/MATLAB or similar computational tools for engineering applications.AI, BIM, digital twins, computer vision, robotics, and predictive analytics are increasingly important areas across up-to-date Civil Engineering practice and research.
