Job Description – Early Years Teacher (IB)
n Position: Early Years Teacher
n Experience: 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in Early Years; IB/PYP experience preferred
n Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with B.Ed./Early Childhood Education/Montessori/ECCE qualification preferred.

- Plan and deliver inquiry-based, play-based, and concept-driven learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.n
- Create a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom workplace that supports the holistic development of young learners.n
- Develop engaging learning experiences that promote communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and independence .n
- Integrate the IB Learner Profile attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills into everyday classroom experiences.n
- Facilitate student-led exploration and encourage children to ask questions, investigate, reflect, and make meaningful connections.n




- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning engagements across different developmental and learning needs.n
- Observe, document, and assess student learning through formative and authentic assessment practices .n
- Maintain learning documentation, portfolios, student records, and other required academic documentation.n
- Differentiate learning experiences to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.n
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, PYP coordinators, specialists, and support staff for effective curriculum planning and implementation.n
- Establish positive and respectful relationships with students and promote social-emotional wellbeing.n
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, development, and classroom experiences.n
- Participate actively in school events, assemblies, celebrations, professional development, and community initiatives.n
- Contribute to the development and review of PYP units of inquiry and transdisciplinar
