Abou the Role:We are looking for a Design Intern – Biopharma to join our Engineering & Design team and gain hands-on experience in 3D product design, engineering drawings, prototyping, and design development.This is a full-time, on-site internship based out of Pune. The intern will work closely with the Design and Engineering team on product development, CAD design, documentation, testing, and manufacturing coordination, with exposure to real-world biopharma and single-use products.Successful completion of the internship will lead to a full-time opportunity with the organization, subject to performance.Education:Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree inMechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.Experience0 – 6 months of experiencein engineering/design; freshers are welcome.Academic projects or internships involving CAD, product design,



or mechanical design will be an advantage.Responsibilities:Core Work AreaAssist in creating and modifying2D/3D designsusing AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Support the preparation ofengineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.Supportprototyping, testing, design validation, and design improvements.Assist in taking designs from concept through prototype and production under guidance from senior engineers.Learn and applyDesign for Manufacturing (DFM)and basic GD&T; principles.DocumentationAssist in preparing and maintainingDesign & Development (D&D;) documentation.SupportBOM preparation, drawing revisions, document numbering, and document control.Maintain records related to design changes, testing, and development activities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree inMechanical / Production / Industrial / Design Engineeringor a related field.Positive understanding of basic engineering and mechanical design concepts.Required SkillsBasic knowledge ofAutoCAD.Basic knowledge ofSOLIDWORKS.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
