- Candidates shouldhave a Post-Graduation/Graduation degree in Psychology /Clinical Psychology. Min 3+ Years of experience as a School Counsellor. N
- In-depth and up-to-dateknowledge of curriculum areas, research, and educational trends in Education. State certification or licensure as a school counsellor. N
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills. N
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with students. N
- Knowledge of adolescentdevelopment, mental health issues, and academic counselling. N

n n Key Responsibilities:
N Individual Counselling:
N
- n
- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students facing academic, personal, social, or emotional challenges. N
- Help students develop coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence. N

n Group Counselling:
N
- n
- Conduct group counselling sessions to address common issues such as peer relationships, bullying, study skills, and career exploration. N




- Create a safe and supportive space for students to share and learn from their peers. N

n Academic Advising:
N
- n
- Assist students in setting academic goals, selecting appropriate courses, and developing study skills. N
- Monitor academic progress and provide intervention when necessary. N

n Consultation:
N
- n
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address students' specific needs. N
- Provide recommendationsand strategies for classroom interventions and support plans. N

n School-wide Programs:

- n
- Develop and implement programs that promote a positive school culture, such as anti-bullying initiatives, character education, and mental health awareness campaigns. N
- Conduct workshops and presentations for students and staff on relevant topics. N
