NAbout RA Studio
nRA Studio is the design and production house of veteran designer Ritu Agnihotri, an alumna of the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, Class of 1983.
NWe create contemporary Indian womenswear rooted in thoughtful design, natural fabrics, Indian textiles and craft — interpreted for an easy, modern wardrobe.
NAs RA Studio grows, we are looking for a talented Fashion Designer to work closely with Ritu and our design and production team, with the opportunity to participate meaningfully in the evolving design language of the label.
NThe Role
nThis is first and foremost a product design role.
NWe are looking for someone with a strong design sensibility, an instinct for textiles and an understanding of how an idea moves from concept to a finished garment.
NYou will work across the complete development journey — research → concept → textile → silhouette → sampling → fitting → refinement → finished collection.




NWhat you will work on

- Research and develop concepts, moodboards, colour stories, silhouettes and collection directions. N
- Create original garmentdesigns, sketches, technical drawings and design specifications. N
- Explore fabrics, handlooms, prints, embroidery, surface techniques, trims and garment details. N
- Work closely with pattern masters, tailors, sampling teams and production partners to translate ideas into finished garments. N
- Participate actively insampling and fittings, refining proportion, construction, comfort and fit. N
- Balance creativity withwearability, production feasibility and the commercial needs of a growing label. N
- Learn from customer andproduct feedback to continuously improve future collections. N
- Thoughtfully use AI andemerging design tools to accelerate research, visualisation, experimentation, iteration and garment development. N
