About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Accounts & Commercial Executive to become a key support person within a growing fashion business.
This will be our first full-time in-house accounts hire. The role goes beyond traditional accounting and is suited to someone who enjoys working in a small organisation where responsibilities are wide-ranging and ownership matters more than narrow job boundaries.
The person will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounts, reconciling inventory and transactions, coordinating with external accountants and vendors, supporting commercial activities, and handling a range of administrative requirements.
The role will work closely with the Founder and will gradually become the central point of support for the financial,



commercial and administrative side of the business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate day-to-day books of accounts.
- Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, payments and receipts.
- Maintain ledgers for customers, vendors and other counterparties.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Track outstanding receivables and payables.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate vendor payments after approval.
- Ensure supporting invoices and documentation are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with the external CA/accounting firm for GST, TDS, statutory filings and year-end accounts.
- Provide information and documentation required for audits and statutory compliance.
2. Inventory & Stock Reconciliation
A significant part of the role will involve creating discipline around inventory.
