nRole Overview
nThe Quality Head is responsible for establishing and driving the overall quality strategy across the
nplant. The role ensures adherence to customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal
nquality benchmarks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, defect prevention, and
noperational excellence.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. Quality Strategy & Leadership
n Develop and implement the plant’s quality vision, strategy, and roadmap
n Lead the quality function to achieve zero-defect and zero-customer-complaint goals
n Align quality objectives with overall business and operational goals
n2. Quality Assurance & Control
n Establish robust quality assurance systems for incoming, in-process, and finished goods
n Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF/TS standards
n Drive standardization of quality processes and documentation
n3. Customer Quality Management




n Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans)
n Handle customer complaints and lead root cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions
n(CAPA)
n Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent quality performance
n4. Supplier Quality Management
n Evaluate and develop supplier quality systems
n Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans
n Ensure incoming material quality meets defined specifications
n5. Process Quality & Continuous Improvement
n Drive process capability improvement and reduce variation
n Lead initiatives like Six Sigma, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Lean Quality tools
n Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all departments
n6. Audits & Compliance
n Lead internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, regulatory audits)
n Ensure full compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental standards
