About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Director to lead new business acquisition, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a hunter-focused role responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across consulting, transformation, outsourcing, and qualified services sectors.
The successful candidate will build a strong sales pipeline, engage with senior stakeholders, and convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract closure.
- Generate business through networking, referrals, partnerships, and industry events.
- Support expansion into new markets and industry sectors.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Understand client challenges and position solutions effectively.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.
Commercial Leadership
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, and business cases.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies and service development initiatives.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with consulting, delivery, and marketing teams to develop client solutions.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and networking engagements.
