Remote Medical Biller – US Healthcare | Night ShiftnVerityMD is hiring an experienced Medical Biller who understands the complete end-to-end US healthcare billing cycle and can independently manage billing operations from patient registration through final payment.
Responsibilitiesn
- n
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefitsn
- Review referral and authorization statusn
- Ensure accurate demographics, insurance information, and billing setupn
- Review documentation and assist with ICD-10, CPT, and modifier codingn
- Perform charge entry and clean claim submissionn
- Track claims and perform timely AR follow-upn
- Work rejected, unpaid, and underpaid claimsn
- Manage denials, appeals, reconsiderations, and corrected claimsn
- Prior Authorizationsn
- Post and reconcile insurance and patient paymentsn
- Identify billing errors and revenue leakagen
- Understand payer policies, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirementsn
- Assist with provider credentialing, enrollment, revalidation, and payer follow-upn




- Monitor aging reports and help improve collectionsn
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, providers, and internal teamsn
- Take ownership of claims from beginning to final resolutionn

Requirementsn
- n
- 5–6+ years of hands-on US medical billing experiencen
- Robust knowledge of the full Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processn
- Experience with:n
- Eligibility and benefits verificationn
- Referrals and prior authorizationsn
- Claims submissionn
- Coding and modifiersn
- Payment postingn
- AR follow-upn
- Denials and appealsn
- Credentialing and payer enrollmentn
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve difficult billing issuesn
- Strong communication and documentation skillsn
- Detail-oriented and accountablen
- Experience with neurology or specialty medical practices is a plusn
