NRole Summary
nWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs involving
Nsuperconducting materials, magnet systems, and cryogenic technologies. The ideal candidate will
Ndrive projects from concept through prototyping, testing, and deployment — coordinating tightly
Nwith materials science, cryogenics, electrical engineering, and quality teams to deliver
Nsuperconducting magnets, wire/tape, or systems on time, within budget, and to performance specifications.
NKey Responsibilities
n - Own end-to-end planning and execution of superconductor programs, including magnet/coil
Ndevelopment, wire and tape production, cryostat integration, and system-level testing.
N - Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, critical path analysis, and resource plans.
N - Coordinate with R&D;, process, and reliability engineering teams to track technical milestones
Nsuch as material qualification, coil winding, cooldown/quench testing, and field-performance
Nvalidation.
n - Manage project budgets,



capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking, and vendor/tooling procurement
Ntimelines in partnership with finance and procurement, including specialty cryogenic equipment.
N - Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to quench events, material performance, supply of rare materials and schedule slippage;
escalate issues with transparent recovery plans.
N - Drive stakeholder communication through regular program reviews, status reports, and
Nexecutive dashboards (e.G., using Zoho, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira).
N - Facilitate change control and cross-site/cross-lab coordination for multi-partner or multi-vendor
Nprograms, including academic and national-lab collaborations where applicable.
N - Partner with customers,research institutions, and/or component suppliers on program
Ntimelines, qualification requirements, and delivery commitments.
N - Lead post-project reviews and drive continuous
