DropX Logistics is a last-mile and quick commerce logistics company operating across multiple Indian states, managing a large-scale gig workforce across delivery and dark store operations.

We are looking for a senior skilled to own end-to-end gig workforce planning, mass recruitment, capacity forecasting, rate card design, and workforce cost across our operations.

Responsibilities

Workforce Planning & Capacity
Translate volume forecasts from Operations into station-wise, role-wise gig headcount plans
Maintain a live capacity tracker across all states — sanctioned vs deployed vs gap
Build and manage a bench pipeline to ensure continuous gig worker availability
Forecast workforce needs based on volume trends, seasonal surges, and new station launches

Mass Recruitment & Campaigns
Lead state and regional recruiters across all locations
Plan and execute mass gig worker onboarding drives — walk-ins, local sourcing, vendor partnerships




Own end-to-end TAT from requisition to deployment, target 5 working days or less
Ensure onboarding compliance and documentation across all gig worker categories

Rate Card & Compensation
Own the pay structure for gig workers — fixed pay, minimum guarantee, and variable payout with proximity-based delivery slabs
Benchmark rates against competing logistics and gig platforms
Propose rate card revisions with cost-impact analysis within approved per-unit economics

Cost Management & Analytics
Track per-unit workforce cost across stations and programs
Analyse gig worker productivity benchmarks and identify cost optimisation opportunities
Prepare workforce cost reports for leadership review

Attrition Management
Track gig worker churn weekly by role and station, identify patterns, and own the retention strategy
Implement earning incentives, advance pay cycles, and onboarding improvements
Supervise exit analysis and feed insights back into h
