We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Engineer with deep expertise in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems. This role is suited for an engineer who understands how to build highly scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance systems and can solve complex engineering challenges across distributed architectures.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Hadoop, SQL, distributed systems, security, and communication protocols, along with a strong understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, resource management, and performance optimization. Experience with C++ is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize distributed systems with a focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
Apply strong knowledge of communication protocols and distributed system patterns to build efficient system components.




Develop secure communication mechanisms using encryption, authentication, SSL/TLS, and other security practices.
Build high-quality software using Java and contribute to large-scale data processing components using Hadoop and SQL.
Design and optimize SQL queries, data workflows, and processing pipelines for high-performance distributed execution.
Develop resilient components with effective resource management, task coordination, failure handling, and recovery mechanisms.
Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks across multi-node and distributed environments.
Troubleshoot complex production and system-level issues and drive effective root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
