Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage and oversee day-to-day VMC machining operations and ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required standards of quality, productivity, and delivery.
The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in VMC operations, shop-floor supervision, manpower management, production planning, tooling, and process monitoring, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily VMC shop-floor production activities.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, tools, and resources based on production requirements.
Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of jobs.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams for smooth production flow.
Monitor VMC machine utilization, cycle times, productivity, and output.
Ensure jobs are executed as per approved drawings,



process sheets, work instructions, and production plans.
Monitor tooling, fixtures, cutting tools, and consumables required for VMC operations.
Coordinate with operators and setters to address machining-related issues and improve productivity.
Identify production bottlenecks, machine downtime, and process-related issues and take timely corrective action.
Work closely with the Quality team to minimize rejection, rework, and dimensional deviations.
Ensure proper identification and traceability of components throughout the production process.
Monitor machine loading and prioritize jobs based on production requirements.
Ensure proper handling and upkeep of VMC machines, tools, fixtures, and shop-floor equipment.
Supervise, guide, and train VMC operators and production personnel.
Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards.
