The Role The Role: You are the Power BI discipline Solution Architect responsible for safeguarding and migrating the client's analytics estate through a tenant-to-tenant consolidation. This includes workspaces, reports, semantic models/datasets, gateways (where relevant), service principals, permissions and operational governance . Power BI migrations fail when teams ignore identity,



access and workspace governance. Your role is to define the migration blueprint and factory execution patterns that preserve business-critical reporting while maintaining security and governance standards in the target tenant. Key Responsibilities: - Define the target-state Power BI architecture and governance for the consolidated tenant: workspace strategy, admin controls, permissions model, deployment patterns, operational standards. - Define tenant-to-tenant migration approach for Power BI artefacts: discovery, criticality classification, workspace mapping, move approach, validation, remediation. - Establish runbooks for factory teams covering: workspace creation/config, permissions mapping, report/dataset migration patterns, dependency handling and post-move verification. - Coordinate dependencies with Entra Apps/Identity: service principals, admin consent, API permissions, authentic
