Assistant Manager – Production – Injection Molding Location: Dombivli, Maharashtra Department: Production Reporting To: Manager – Production Experience: 9–15 Years Relevant Experience: Minimum 7 years in Injection Molding Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Plastic / Production / Mechanical or CIPET Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production (Injection Molding) to manage and optimize injection molding production operations. The role will be responsible for production planning and execution, process troubleshooting, OEE improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, quality improvement, and effective management of production manpower. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on expertise in Injection Molding operations and troubleshooting , along with experience in TPM, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, SPC and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Execution Prepare and execute daily/weekly/monthly production plans. Ensure achievement of production, quality and delivery targets.



Optimize utilization of machines, manpower and materials. Monitor planned vs. actual production and take corrective actions. 2. Injection Molding Process & Troubleshooting Handle day-to-day injection molding process-related issues independently. Troubleshoot molding defects, machine/process problems and minimize downtime. Ensure proper machine, mold and process parameter settings. Drive process standardization and continuous process improvement. 3. OEE & Productivity Improvement Monitor and improve OEE of injection molding machines . Identify losses related to availability, performance and quality. Reduce rejection, scrap, downtime and COPQ. Improve machine utilization and overall production efficiency. 4. Process Optimization / Value Engineering Identify opportunities for process improvement and value engineering.
