The Infrastructure Operations Engineer - Linux Focus is responsible for monitoring and supporting WBD's global infrastructure platforms, with a focus on Linux operational support within enterprise environments. The role is part of the Tier 2 operations support team and acts as an escalation point for L1 teams for Linux-related alerts, incidents, operational queries, planned changes, and routine maintenance activities. Working with the IT Operations Manager and cross-technology Operations Engineers, this role supports the reliable operation of infrastructure services and participates in troubleshooting, documentation, change support, and continuous improvement activities. The role requires a versatile infrastructure operations mindset, with the ability to stay calm during incidents, follow established processes, communicate clearly, and escalate to Tier 3 Linux Engineering, vendor, or specialist teams when deeper technical support is required.
