Role summary
Technical lead for the EPPM solution. You own technical design, code quality and deployment across developments and integrations – including the EPPM – PLM Change Record interface – and mentor the technical team within a DevOps delivery model.
Key responsibilities
Own technical design and build across ABAP / ABAP OO, Fiori / SAPUI5, CDS views, OData services, BRF+, the enhancement framework (BAdI / user exits) and SAP workflow.
Design and build the EPPM – PLM Change Record integration and external interfaces (OData / BAPI / CDS / IDoc; SAP BTP / CPI where applicable).
Lead code reviews, performance tuning, and transport / release management, enforcing client and SAP development standards.
Resolve complex technical incidents and problems (L3), including advanced debugging.
Estimate technical effort,
mentor technical consultants, and drive regression and deployment cycles.
Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices (e.g. abapGit / gCTS / transport automation).
8+ years SAP technical experience, including ABAP OO, CDS, OData, Fiori / UI5, BRF+ and the enhancement framework.
Proven SAP integration experience (SAP-to-SAP and external), ideally involving PLM / Change Record or PS / PPM.
Solid debugging, performance optimization and transport / release management.
Agile / DevOps delivery and code-review leadership.
Preferred:
Pharma / GxP experience and computer system validation (CSV); SAP certification.
