Job Title: AOSP Automotive HMI Engineer
Location: Washi Haveli, Pune, Maharashtra (On-site)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Android HMI Developer to join our automotive engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and customizing Android AOSP-based HMI applications for Automotive IVI systems, working across system, vendor, and priv-app layers with a strong focus on stability, performance, and clean architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize Android AOSP HMI applications for Automotive IVI
Implement features such as Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Phone, Navigation, and Settings
Integrate HMI with Android Framework, Middleware, and Vehicle HAL (VHAL)
Develop features using Android Automotive APIs and Car Service
Build crash-free applications using MVP/MVVM architecture, LiveData, Observer, and Shared Preferences
Debug and resolve application and framework-level issues
Support system integration,



debugging, and optimization
Collaborate closely with UX, BSP, Middleware, and System teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin and Android application development
Hands-on experience with Android AOSP/AAOS
Solid understanding of Android Framework Architecture, AIDL/Binder IPC, and Car APIs
Proficiency with Android Studio, ADB, Logcat, Git, and Linux
Experience with Automotive IVI platforms, Android 12
Exposure to Android Automotive Emulator
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills

Education B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field
