Required Skills
Solid understanding of 5G NR architecture (CU, DU, Core).
Hands-on experience with CUCP and/or CUUP development.
Solid knowledge of 3GPP protocols: RRC, NGAP, F1AP, E1AP, GTP‑U.
Extensive knowledge of 3GPP Release 15/16/17 and (and awareness of Rel-18) for 5G NR and Architect solutions for multi-core and parallel processing systems




Proficiency in C/C++ (mandatory) and development within Linux-based systems.
Strong Linux, networking (TCP/IP, UDP), and system debugging skills.
Experience on x86 platforms and virtualized environments.
Expert in debugging of complex issues like memory corruption, race conditions, deadlocks, and system crashes with use of gdb, Wireshark (with NR plugins), and protocol analyzers like QXDM, QCAT.
Proficiency in GIT, Jenkins (CI/CD), and JIRA for agile development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement CU‑CP and CU‑UP functionality per 3GPP Rel‑15/16/17.
Develop and enhance control plane protocols: RRC, NGAP, F1‑C, E1AP.
Develop and optimize user plane handling: F1‑U, GTP‑U, QoS flows, bearer management, PDCP and SDAP
Integrate CU with DU, 5G Core (AMF/SMF/UPF), and USIM/UE simulators.
Optimize performance for latency, throughput, and CPU utilization.
Debug and troubleshoot call setup, mobility,
