Key Responsibilities
Analyse requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory and End-to-End Testing.
Design, develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and automated test suites.
Automate suitable functional, regression, smoke and end-to-end test scenarios.
Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and automate API tests where appropriate.
Perform database validation using SQL and verify data consistency across UI, API and database layers.
Identify defects, document transparent reproduction steps and work closely with developers for resolution.
Analyse automation failures, troubleshoot framework issues and perform defect/root-cause analysis.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release validation.
