ABOUT WISEMONK
Wisemonk is an Employer of Record and global hiring platform for companies building teams in India. We handle hiring, payroll, compliance, equipment, and everything else that comes with employing people in a country you don't have an entity in. More than 300 companies, most of them US-headquartered, run their India operations through us.

THE ROLE
You will own a portfolio of existing accounts and be responsible for growing them. That work starts at onboarding, when a new client is still deciding how much of their India presence to build with us, and continues through every expansion conversation after that: more headcount, new functions, additional services, new locations.
Most of our clients are technology and IT services companies. Their India teams are engineering pods, delivery teams, support functions, and increasingly full product groups. To grow these accounts you need to understand how their projects get staffed and run, what their hiring plan looks like two quarters out, and where they are likely to hit friction.



An expansion conversation here is usually a workforce planning conversation first and a commercial one second.
You will work directly with senior people at these companies: VPs of Engineering, Heads of Delivery, COOs, sometimes founders. Many of them have never employed anyone in India before and are relying on you to tell them how it works.
This role carries an expansion and upsell target.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own a quota for expansion and upsell across a defined portfolio of accounts.
- Run onboarding for new clients, from signature through their first successful hires in India.
- Build account plans and expansion roadmaps: where the client is headed, what they will need, and when.
- Write and present proposals for additional headcount, recent services, and expanded scope.
- Handle the questions clients bring you day to day on payroll, statutory compliance, notice periods, equipment, offboarding, and contractor convers
