Position Title: Oracle PPM Functional Consultant

We are seeking a pure-play Oracle PPM Functional Consultant with solid construction/EPC industry domain knowledge to lead solutioning and delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM engagements. This is a functional (non-technical) role — the ideal candidate is someone who can sit directly with business stakeholders (project controllers, cost engineers, project managers, finance), translate their construction project lifecycle needs into Oracle solutions, and drive design decisions independently with minimal technical/developer hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirement Gathering & Solutioning
Lead workshops with construction industry stakeholders (project controls, project accounting, procurement, PMO) to elicit business requirements
Translate business processes specific to construction — job costing, WIP, retention billing, subcontractor cost tracking, change orders,



capital project accounting — into Oracle PPM functional designs
Independently drive fit-gap analysis, identifying where standard Oracle functionality meets requirements vs. where workarounds/extensions are needed
Own solution architecture at the functional level: propose to-be process flows, configuration approach, and integration touchpoints
Present solution options to client stakeholders/steering committees with clear trade-offs (standard functionality vs. customization, effort vs. value)
Author Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
