About RocketPay
We started in 2022 because the collections layer in India was broken. Lenders found out about defaults too late. Distributors waited months to know if a retailer would pay. Businesses had no compliant way to collect what was owed. Everyone was building at the transaction layer — nobody was going deeper into what happened after credit was given.
We decided to build that infrastructure. Today, RocketPay sits between payment initiation and default — preventing losses before they happen, not cleaning them up after. We are not a payment gateway, and we are not a debt recovery platform. We are the pipe through which credit collections and recovery flows.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial
transactions, reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and
timely financial records, prepare reports and support audits and budget preparation.

Key Responsibilities




• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and general ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Process tax payments and returns; maintain confidentiality of financial
information.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Proven experience (2-3+ years) as an accountant or in a relevant role
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)
and audit practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally) and solid Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
