NetaSampark is a citizen engagement platform designed to strengthen the connection between people and their elected representatives. It enables citizens to discover their leaders, share ideas, participate in polls, rate public representatives, and express views on issues that matter. The platform also helps elected representatives understand citizen sentiment and build stronger, more meaningful relationships with their communities. Guided by a vision of making democracy more participative, transparent, and connected, NetaSampark focuses on amplifying citizen voices and improving democratic engagement.

Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms to enhance NetaSampark’s digital presence and citizen engagement. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, creating basic visual content, assisting with social media calendars, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments in alignment with brand guidelines. The intern will help with campaign execution, track performance metrics,



and share insights to improve reach and participation. Collaboration with the marketing and product teams to highlight platform features, civic initiatives, and community stories will be part of the role. This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic analytics tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Interest in civic engagement, public policy, or democracy-focused initiatives is highly beneficial.
