SALES DIRECTOR (Business Development) Company: Location: Remote (India-based)

Our team is quickly Scaling and we’re on the hunt for a SALES DIRECTOR from INDIA

This role is responsible for driving self-generated leads pipeline, improving client conversion rates, and building a high-performance sales engine for Scalex. You will own the top-of-funnel strategy ensuring consistent lead generation, high-quality appointments, and seamless handoff to Business Development Managers (Sales Closers), while coaching and developing a team of sales professionals.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Set clear KPIs (calls, connects, booked meetings, show rates, qualified opportunities)

Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, and performance audits

Own sales strategy across cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

Optimize scripts, messaging, and outreach sequences for higher sales conversion

Systems & Process Management

Implement and refine CRM workflows (e.g.,



Ensure accurate tracking of all sales activities and pipeline metrics

Standardize SOPs for outreach, follow-ups, and appointment setting

Direct lead quality and leads targeting strategies

Training & Development

Continuously train team on objection handling, communication, and sales techniques

Run roleplays and skill-building sessions regularly

Work closely with Business Development Managers (Sales Closers) to improve appointment quality and conversion

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a SALES leadership role

SAAS Sales, IT/Tech Sales, BPO Industry experience is a MUST.

Experience in high-ticket sales or B2B services

Strong understanding of cold outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)

Data-driven mindset with solid analytical skills

Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership abilities

Preferred Experience

Background in scaling remote sales teams is an advantage
